JANICE MACKENZIE'S FAIRY DOORS 2023:
The Sellersville Parks & Recreation Board invites you to come to the Sellersville Train Station, Lawn Avenue, on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. to paint a fairy door. All children ages 4-12 years old are welcome to paint a door, but you must pre-register at the Borough office. Class size is limited to 25, so sign up early! You can return on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Boy Scout Cabin, 116 East Walnut Street, Sellersville for the "Find the Fairy Doors" Event. There are prizes for finding all of the fairy doors. The finding of the fairy doors is a free event.



"SELLEBRATE" SELLERSVILLE CLEAN-UP DAY 2023:
Sellersville Parks & Recreation Board is hosting their 3rd Annual “Sellebrate” Sellersville Community Clean-Up day on Saturday, April 22nd from 9:00 a.m. to Noon. Volunteers will be meeting at the American Legion Post #255, 75 North Main Street, Sellersville and spread out to areas in need of clean up. Volunteers will be provided with trash bags, gloves, and safety vests. Please contact the Sellersville Borough at (215)257-5075 to pre-register to be a part of this event to help beautify our town.


EASTER EGG HUNT WITH THE EASTER BUNNY 2023:
Sellersville Parks & Recreation Board is hosting their annual Easter Egg Hunt with the Easter Bunny at B. Earl Druckenmiller Playground on Saturday, April 8th at 1:00 p.m. Age Ranges are 0-2 years old, 3-4 years old, 5-7 years old, and 8-10 years old. No rain date - the Easter Bunny will distribute eggs from the Public Works Building if it rains.
*Please note that real eggs are used in the Easter Egg hunt. Consumption of eggs not refrigerated after 2 hours may increase the risk of foodborne illness.


HOUSE DECORATING CONTEST FOR THE HOLIDAYS 2022:
Register your house for Sellersville Borough's House Decorating Contest no later than December 8, 2022 at sellersville@sellersvilleboro.org. Please include your name, address, and phone number. A visible sign must be displayed in the front portion of your property for the Sellersville Borough Parks & Recreation Board to identify your house as an entry. All registered houses are eligible for monetary First, Second, and Third Prize. Voting will be done by the Sellersville Borough Parks & Recreation Board.
Contest is for Sellersville Borough residents only.

HALLOWEEN PARTY 2022:
Sellersville Parks and Recreation Board is hosting a Halloween Party on Saturday, October 29th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Sellersville Fire House, 2 North Main Street, Sellersville.
Join them for spooky treats, drinks, and games. Costumes are encouraged. A costume swap will be held during the party - bring along a costume that is clean and in good condition that you can no longer use and trade it for a different costume.

HALLOWEEN HOUSE DECORATING CONTEST 2022:
Join in on Sellersville Borough's Halloween House Decorating Contest! Register your house no later than October 15th at sellersville@sellersvilleboro.org and your house will be on the tour map. Please include your name, address, and phone number (only your address will be displayed). All registered houses are eligible for monetary First, Second, or Third Prize.

Voting will take place from October 22nd to October 31st. Vote by email at Sellersville@sellersvilleboro.org or call (215)257-5075, extension 101. Each voting entry must include the name and address of the voter. Tour map is found HERE.


TREE NAMING CONTEST 2022:
Sellersville Parks and Recreation Board is hosting a special Tree-Naming Contest in Lake Lenape Park from August 13th - 27th. The contest is a family-friendly, self-directed outdoor activity. Lake Lenape Park is home to many wonderful trees and those who spend time in the park have come to appreciate and feel affection for many of them. Each selected tree in the park will hold a pink ribbon with a numbered sign. After the contest is over, the Board will announce the winners on the Sellersville Borough Facebook page and website, followed by a Ceremony to honor winning entries. The Board will have a plaque inscribed with the name of the tree and the person who named it to be mounted near the tree.
