RECYCLING CENTER Location: To rear of Municipal Garage South Side Maple Ave. Adjacent to Sellersville Playground The Recycling Center is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for the convenience of Sellersville Borough Residents only. There are signs above each bin indicating where the recyclable materials must be placed. Glass should be separated by color. Only properly prepared recyclables will be accepted at the drop - off center. Under no circumstance should other trash, bulky items, brush or leaves be left at the drop - off center. The following recyclables are accepted: Glass (all colors): Remove lids and neckbands from bottles and jars and rinse. No need to remove labels. ( No ceramics, light bulbs, or plate glass). Cans (aluminum only usually beverage cans) : Flatten all cans if possible. No metal or tin cans ( no aluminum foil). Newspaper is to be bundled, tied securely, or inserted into a durable paper bag. Junk mail may be included with newsprint. Newsprint is to be clean and free of soil, garbage, etc. Stack neatly to the furthest point forward in the walk-in container. Not accepted is: Cardboard, corrugated paper, magazines, wax coated cardboard, freezer boxes, wood nails, styrofoam, or plastic. Thank you for your participation in the program. |
